Virtual Hands and Keyboard

Our virtual hands and keyboard will show students the correct finger placement for reach key as they type.

If your students find the virtual hands and virtual keyboard distracting, or if you prefer they don't have this guidance, they can be deactivated from either the teacher or student portal.

How can students change their settings?

Students can easily deactivate this feature from their interface. Once a student logs in and starts a lesson, they will see several icons along the top of the screen. To turn off the keyboard guide, have students click the keyboard icon. To turn off the hand guides, click the hand icon.

How can teachers change student settings?

Teachers can control the student setup from their portal. To do this, navigate to the class, click the the Student Settings link, and then set your preferences. For more details on this process, see the article 'Student Settings Control' in the related topics below.

This option can always be reversed, based on your or their preferences!
